Programme Note
Julian Bliss is a world-famous both as a soloist but also as a chamber musician. He won the 2001 Concerto soloists Young Artists Competition in Philadelphia and in 2002 performed at the Queens Golden Jubilee.
He will be coming with a jazz quintet to play a mix of Gershwin and Goodman. You’ll hear all the Gershwin favourites like Fascinating Rhythm and I got Rhythm as well as the Goodman classics like Summertime and I would do most anything for you. Please don’t miss the chance to hear one of the great jazz musicians of today.
