Programme Note

The annual SASO Family Concerts are intended to introduce live Orchestral Music to a younger audience. Children are invited to attend in fancy dress, as are the orchestra members.

Extracts from the following wonderful pieces will be introduced by Bill, our Conductor –

The venue is St Paul’s Church, Blandford Road, St Albans AL1 4JP.
Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Two performances will take place, at 2:00 and 3:30 p.m., each with an interval, when audience members will be invited to mingle with the orchestra and try out some of the instruments (at their owners’ discretion).
