We are thrilled to be hosting Nicola Woodward again in the barns for this very special concert of Telemann's music that he wrote for the solo flute.
Telemann was at one time considered as great a musician as J.S Bach and lived an extraordinary life, surviving tragedy and campagning for musicians rights whilst producing an enormous quatity of written works. Amongst this legacy are his 12 fantasies for the modern flute that through the 12 different keys demonstrate it's full potential both emotionally and musically.
Nicola describes herself as a communicator. She loves performing and sharing her knowledge and love of music. She has previously performed twice solo in the barns, to a hugely enthusiastic and warm response from the audience.
