Music by Thomas Tallis, Charles Villiers Stanford, and Ralph Vaughan Williams sits alongside evocative settings by William Harris, Gustav Holst, and John Rutter, forming a programme of depth, contrast, and expressive beauty. At the heart of the concert is a rare opportunity to hear Vaughan Williams’ Five English Folk Songs, alongside beloved works including The Blue Bird and Faire is the Heaven. Set in the stunning acoustic of St Mary’s Church, this promises to be a reflective and uplifting evening.
