The venue is an ideal salon for chamber music set at the heart of the city of London that Mendelssohn knew well. The original version of his famous Octet (1825) will be performed just two days after the anniversary of his death on 4 Nov in 1847. Bach's Art of Fugue (1742) could be better entitled The Art of Bach and here is a chancce to getup close and personal in the intimate surroundings the Hall provides.
